Stephanie Klemons' Katie's Art Project To Release First Holiday Album  Image

Stephanie Klemons (Hamilton, If/Then, In the Heights), Associate Choreographer of Hamilton and Founder of Katie's Art Project, releases first holiday album on December 14 featuring Broadway's Marcus Paul James (RENT, In the Heights) original song, 'Best Time of Them All' in support of Katie's Art Project.

Produced by Marcus Paul James with Musical Direction by Mark Stewart, this album features original songs released this year by Casey Jamerson (Bring it On), Janet Krupin (Bring it On, If/Then), Clara Thomson, Jimmie "JJ" Jeter (Hamilton), and Gabriella Sorrentino (Hamilton).

The album includes a new take on the holiday classic 'Deck the Halls' featuring Marcus Paul James, Javier Muñoz (Hamilton, In the Heights), Chloë Campbell (King Kong, Tuck Everlasting), Antuan Magic Raimone (Hamilton, In the Heights), Rickey Tripp (In the Heights, Hamilton, Once on this Island), Brandon Schneider, and children of La Rabida Children's Hospital & Maimonides Medical Center.

Katie's Art Project is a 501(c)3 organization working to connect children facing life-threatening illnesses with emerging and established artists to create a lasting legacy through art. Founded in 2010 by Stephanie Klemons, Associate and Supervising Choreographer of the Broadway smash hit, Hamilton, Katie's Art Project brings arts programming directly to children facing life-threatening illness in their environment. Stephanie Klemons is an award-winning Broadway performer and choreographer, most recently adding direction to her resume. Stephanie serves as the Associate and Supervising Choreographer of Broadway's smash hit Hamilton. Stephanie's worked on the Broadway and pre-Broadway productions of Bring It On (Associate Choreographer), In the Heights (Dance Captain, Assoc. Choreographer of the 1st Nat'l tour), and If/Then (Dance Captain). Stephanie is a Carbonell Award Nominee for her work on In the Heights (Actor's Playhouse, Miami) and most recently directed and choreographed the production in a semi-staged concert format at the Kennedy Center as part of the Broadway Center Stage series in March 2018. More recently, Stephanie has been involved in Only Gold, a musical conceived, directed, and choreographed by Andy Blankenbuehler with a score by pop star Kate Nash. She's also developing, directing and choreographing a new piece based on the book This is Sadie (New York Children's Theater) opening for young audiences next spring (2019). Other credits include Super Bowl LLI NFL Commercial, commercials for Victoria's Secret, a remake of George Michael's "Freedom," How I Met Your Mother, Sesame Street, and Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
