Staten Island Zoo's "Chuck" Makes his Prediction on Groundhog Day, 2/2

Staten Island's Chuck is gearing up....for his much anticipated, hopefully less "biting," prediction at the Staten Island Zoo.

Will we have a short winter or will it be another six weeks until spring? Only Staten Island's Chuck knows and he isn't telling until Groundhog Day, Feb. 2nd!

Join Staten Island Chuck, along with notable public figures from around the City, for his much anticipated prediction on Tuesday, Feb. 2nd at the Staten Island Zoo. Gates open 7 a.m., a short 15-20 minute ceremony takes place prior to Chuck's prediction at 7:30 a.m. Join us for music and fun and greet the hog himself. Chuck will also be making appearances throughout the day. The Ceremony is a free event.

Following the ceremony, a special breakfast will be held with Chuck in his honor! Breakfast with Chuck is $10/person; five dollars for kids under 5. Pre-registration is required.
