The Staten Island Zoo is holding a pet seminar titled 'What Makes A Good Pet?' on Saturday, June 12 from 1:30-3:30PM. Do your children ask you for a pet? Maybe you are looking for yourself. Meet some of the educational animals. Come and talk to the educators at the zoo to find out what pets are illegal in NY and what pet would make sense in your household. Meet folks who care for pets and work with rescuing pets. Representatives from Fetch Pet Care, Bark Busters Home Dog Training, Tracey's Pampered Pups, and Pluto Rescue will be at the Zoo. The event is free with Zoo admission.
