Columbus Day Weekend October 8, 9 &10-.Camel Days at the Staten Island Zoo. Sponsored by the Rotary Club of Staten Island. From 10am to 3:30pm. Ride a Camel for $5. Have your picture taken on the Camel for $5 per photo.

Sun., Oct 9 -1:30-3:30pm DINOSAURS AND MORE featuring RICHIE MIRISSIS - Join dinosaur enthusiast, Richie Mirissis, as he presents some amazing fossils, three- dimensional models, and memorabilia from his vast collection. Make a clay fossil mold with the help of our knowledgeable volunteers.
Free with regular admission - DONATION REQUESTED

Sat., Oct. 8th - (8:30-10:00) Breakfast with the Beast
One of Staten Island Zoo's most loved programs. Join us for a tour of our animal kitchen, help prepare some food for critters and watch them eat. Meet some animals close up and have a breakfast snack while you are here.
Members: $10 / Non-members: $13
Children ages 5 and up - please no younger siblings. A paying adult must accompany a paying child.

Saturday Oct. 22- 6 p.m. to 9:30 & Sunday October 23 - 5:30-9 p.m. Spooktacular at the Staten Island Zoo. The Zoo is transformed into a Halloween wonderland. Tricks, treats, temptations and terror ( just a bit)...at the Annual Staten Island Zoo's Halloween Spooktacular event! Advance Ticket sales begin in September.
