The Staten Island Children's Museum is getting ready for their Not Too Scary Halloween Party sponsored by Health Plus on Saturday, October 30th! The Museum will open at noon and admission is FREE! Kids will fill the East Meadow in their Halloween best decorating pumpkins and making Halloween crafts. There will also be music (Dancing on the Meadow) a haunted exhibit -a kid bounce, treats and mischievous fun!
Put on your Halloween costume (for a parade and contest)! The fun will begin early! It's Halloween! We need everyone - big, small, short and tall - to decorate Pumpkins! The big tent will be ready for art activities: Skeleton Puppets, pin the nose on the pumpkin and also some guessing games, The museum staff has turned Great Explorations into "The Haunted World" and on the Meadow, kids can jump on the Giant Bounce and play some games and races like find the Needle in the Haystack and a Skull Toss.All the excitement may make your belly growl, kids can make edible Popcorn Mummy Hands and collect Trick or Treat Bags with a few goodies stuffed inside.
The Museum's Not Too Scary Halloween will take place from noon - 4 p.m.and promises to be a howl! Admission to the party is FREE. Adults must accompany kids; there is limited space available, so please come early.
