Staten Island Children's Museum Announces Events May 11-16

The Staten Island Children's Museum hosts a week of events including a Free day presented by Northfield Bank.

This month kids will cook foods that do not require refrigeration

Safe Escapes! What's in YOUR emergency kit?
Find out what should go into an emergency kit and then pack and decorate one of your own.
*This workshop will run again on May 29th & 30th.

May 16 1, 2 and 3pm
Play With Clay
Work with artist Janice Patrignani. Participants will create decorative ceramic containers in air dry clay using hand building methods of pinching and coiling plus they will be asked to participate in an interactive sculpture by making and decorating ceramic medallions that will be glazed, fired and use as mosaic elements for a sculptural installation to be displayed at Art By The Ferry 2010.
