Manhattan Theatre Club will host its annual Spring Gala on Monday, May 16 at Cipriani 42nd Street (110 East 42nd Street) honoring Marie T. Gallagher, Senior Vice President, PepsiCo, Inc.

This year's gala will be hosted by Tony Award-winning playwright and performer Sarah Jones (Bridge and Tunnel, Sell/Buy/Date) and features performances by many of the most acclaimed musicals on Broadway including Bright Star, The Color Purple, Fiddler on the Roof, Jersey Boys, Motown The Musical, Shuffle Along, and Waitress.

Featured appearances will include Tony Award nominee Carmen Cusack (Bright Star), Tony Award nominee Danielle Brooks, Phoenix Best, Carrie Compere, Adrianna Hicks, Carla R. Stewart and Rema Webb (The Color Purple); six-time Tony Award nominee Danny Burstein, Tony Award nominee Jessica Hecht, Adam Kantor, Ben Rappaport, and Nick Rehberger (Fiddler on the Roof); Stephen Cerf, Rory Max Kaplan, Michael Lomenda, Dominic Scaglione, Jr., Candi Boyd, Sara Schmidt, and Kara Tremel (Jersey Boys); Allison Semmes, Dana Marie Ingraham, Trisha Jeffrey, and Elijah Ahmad Lewis (Motown The Musical); Tony Award nominee Adrienne Warren (Shuffle Along); and three-time Tony Award nominee Christopher Fitzgerald (Waitress). All performers are subject to change.

The evening will be co-directed by Manhattan Theatre Club's award-winning Artistic Director Lynne Meadow and Richard Maltby Jr. (Ain't Misbehavin'). The creative team includes Philip Rosenberg (lighting design), Leon Rothenberg (sound design), and Jason Michael Webb (music direction).

The MTC Spring Gala co-chairs are Joseph H. Gleberman, The Pritzker Organization; and Thomas F. Secunda, Bloomberg.

The Spring Gala begins with cocktails at 7 PM, followed by dinner and the gala performance beginning at approximately 9:15 PM. All proceeds from this annual event will support MTC's mission as a leading non-profit theatre company developing and producing contemporary plays on and off-Broadway, as well as its renowned education program, which deepens students' understanding of themselves and the world through the medium of theatre.

Individual tickets for MTC's Spring Gala, including cocktails, dinner, and the show, are available for $5,000, $3,000, and $2,000. Tables of 10 are also available for $50,000, $30,000, and $20,000.
