Variety reports that Herb Braha (aka Herb Simon) passed away from congestive heart failure in Los Angeles on Saturday, February 6. He was 69.
The actor was a cast member of the 1971 original Off Broadway cast of GODSPELL which ran at the Cherry Lane Theater. Following the show's off-Broadway run, Braha went on to a successful career in film and television, appearing in such shows as "Kojak," "The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries," "Soap," "Remington Steele," "Happy Days" and "Charlie's Angels."
Among his achievements was establishing "Richard the Thread," a successful fabric house that supplied material for opera, stage play and film productions, such as"Pirates of the Caribbean" and "Iron Man" franchises.
