GHOSTS: The Musical is the story of the Ravenwood Theatre and its inherited owner, young Anna Martin. When a savvy real estate agent tries to foreclose on the cherished theatrical landmark, Anna inspires the help of the Theater's spiritual past to save the doomed property. With the help of ghoulish friends and determination, Anna learns the true lesson of what it means to believe.
GHOSTS: The Musical premiered at the Historic Mishler Theatre, Altoona, PA, in 2006. Produced by P&J Productions, GHOSTS: The Musical was an instant sensation. During its limited run, it saw great attendance, terrific word-of-mouth, and sensational reviews. The show was reworked in 2007 with William Allen Jones on board alongside Maryann Anderson, veteran Broadway producer.
P&J Productions will produce a Staged Reading of GHOSTS: The Musical with reception following on June 16 at either 3 P. M. or 7 P. M. at The Theatre at St. Peters, home of The York Theater Company. 619 Lexington Avenue in New York City
The staged reading will be produced by Neil Port & Will Jones of P&J Productions, directed by New York's Adam Fitzgerald, with musical direction by Brett Keith. The cast consists of Diana Phelan as Anna,
Julie Foldesi as Margaret Parsimony,
Rob Maitner as The Ghost of Winchester Montague Sullivan III, Patrick Moran as The Ghost of Dooley O'Brian,
Amy Goldberger as The Ghost of Hilda Hess, Richard Roland as The Ghost of Memphis Aaron,
Emily Harvey as The Ghost of Elizabeth Hart, Steven Strafford as Dexter and Alex Brightman as Toby. Monica Cuoco is the Production Stage Manager. The reading will take place the day after the 2008 Tony Awards on Monday, June 16th at 3pm and 7pm with a reception to follow.
