Tonight, August 20, 2015, from 6:00-8:00 pm, Spring Garden Children's Center, Inc. in collaboration with local artists, teachers and volunteers will hold their 5th Annual Children's Art Exhibit and Reception in the Easton Hospital Gallery at the State Theatre. The exhibit is also accessible by appointment Mon - Fri through Aug 21 - 28, 10 am - 4 pm. Call 610.258.7766 x200 or in person at the State Theatre Administrative Office.

Our summer arts program focuses on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math). Children from Toddler through School Age are engaged in activities that foster creative expression, inviting them to explore, question and create.

Learning experiences also focus on merging cultural diversity, science, environment, technology, social studies and language arts. Art includes water color and acrylics, mosaics, papermaking, environmental art, digital photo journaling, porcelain and clay. Rounding out the program were related field trips to local nature parks and museums, and art galleries and summer theater productions.

Spring Garden Children's Center, Inc. has served the Easton Area since 1955. Its comprehensive programs provide families the year-round childcare support they need, while providing children with stimulating, learning experiences. Spring Garden serves families with children from 13 months to 12 years old. Transportation is offered to and from local school districts, as well as breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks. All classes are grouped by age so children can learn at their own pace and student/teacher ratios are kept low so children receive individual attention. School age students are provided with homework assistance, mentoring, performing arts, visual arts, literacy programs, computer technology, food and nutrition programs and multi-cultural enrichment. Spring Garden Children's Center is a full state licensed facility, a United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley partner, a PA Keystone STARS 4 recipient; and accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), and a Keystones to Opportunity Literacy Grant Partner with Easton Area School District.
