'Spring Awakening' Cast To Appear On GMA 3/20

On the first day of Spring - tomorrow, March 20  - the entire cast of Spring Awakening will perform live on ABC's Good Morning America, sometime between 8am - 9am.  They will sing a medley that consists of: "I Believe", "Don't Do Sadness/Blue Wind", "Mama Who Bore Me" and "Totally F**ked". 

Through the music of Duncan Sheik and book and lyrics of Steven Sater, Spring Awakening follows a group of teenagers through the joyous and painful adventure of growing up.  With direction by Michael Mayer and choreography by Bill T. Jones, the musical won eight 2007 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Best Direction, Best Book, Best Score and Best Choreography.  The show also won four Drama Desk Awards including Outstanding Musical.
