Spring Awakening cast members  Hunter Parrish, Gerard Canonico, Blake Daniel, Amanda Castanos, Jenna Ushkowitz and Eryn Murman are currently featured on a special "Rock the Vote" PSA. You can view their message on YouTube by clicking HERE.

Spring Awakening features the music of Duncan Sheik and book and lyrics by Steven  Sater. Choreography is by Bill T. Jones and it is directed by Michael Mayer.  It is the recipient of 8 2007 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, and the Grammy Award.

This Fall also marks the launch of the First National Touring Company which premiered  on September 7th , and is currently running at the Curran Theatre in San Francisco. The tour's upcoming schedule includes Los Angeles, Seattle, Tempe, AZ, Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia, Toronto, Canada  and Washington, DC among many other stops. September 2nd also was a milestone for the show, as it was the first Broadway show to be invited by iTunes to record a  'LIVE from SoHo' concert  at the  Apple Store/Soho, which was released exclusively on iTunes. This concert featured composer Duncan Shiek, new stars Hunter Parrish and Alexandra Socha and original stars  John Gallagher Jr. and Lauren Pritchard.  This month, the Spring Awakening companion book, 'Spring Awakening In The Flesh"  has been released by Simon & Schuster. International productions of the musical are now in the works including London, Japan, and Germany.
