11th Hour Rescue is a volunteer based, non profit, 501c3 organization that saves Death Row Dogs and Cats from kill shelters; fostering them in a home; providing them with all the love and medical attention they require until they find their forever homes; educating the community about the animal over population problem and the importance of spaying and neutering.

11th Hour Rescue is building a new home, a state of the art shelter! Check out this video: https://vimeo.com/35338942

Over the last few years, Eleventh Hour Rescue has been leasing a kennel facility to house some of the animals in our care and it is currently on the market to be sold.

"I lie awake at night worrying about the day that it does sell, where am I going to put all these lives we have committed to saving?" states, Linda Schiller Volunteer President and Founder.

Another issue is that the facility is old and run down. We make do with what we have by putting patch upon patch. Some of our kennel runs are so beyond repair that it has rendered them useless. Schiller continues; "To me, an empty kennel run is a life that could have been saved and that is unacceptable. It's time to open new doors to our own home, to secure the future for our animals and save more lives."

The goal of "Building Hope" is to create a comfortable haven and a place of hope. Cold concrete and chain link enclosures are a thing of the past. Specifically designed with our dogs in mind, the modern state of the art facility will be a healthier environment both physically and mentally. Equipped with heated floors for comfort and ease of cleaning, solid enclosures and sound proofing to reduce stress, sound, and airborne illness, free access to the outdoors for fresh air, to relieve themselves, or just to lay and feel the sun warm their fur.

Eleventh Hour Rescue has secured a property in Mt Olive, NJ. We have been given the town's blessing and we are ready to make our dream become a reality.

But they cannot do it without our help!
