Songs from Brooklyn to Be Heard in Movie Theaters Nationwide

Brooklyn The Musical is pleased to announce a unique relationship with Movie Tunes LLC that will bring the music of Brooklyn The Musical into the top 200 markets across the country through July 21, 2005.
Songs from the live, original Broadway cast recording, including "Once Upon A Time" and "Streetsinger" will be spun over 9.4 million times in movie theatres across the country, reaching over 200 million captive moviegoers. The Brooklyn The Musical music video will be broadcast on over 2,600 screens in the top 25 markets, reaching over 26 million people.
Brooklyn The Musical is a new Broadway production by Mark Schoenfeld and Barri McPherson with direction by Tony® award nominee Jeff Calhoun, with music supervision, arrangements and orchestrations by Grammy® & Emmy® award winner John McDaniel. The cast features Tony® award-winning Cleavant Derricks, Eden Espinosa, Ramona Keller, Lee Morgan and Karen Olivo. Brooklyn The Musical currently plays at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street), formally the Plymouth Theatre.
