The PBS documentary Hamilton's AMERICA will premiere on Friday, Oct. 21, at 9 p.m. ET/PT, but the Hollywood Reporter has today shared details about what to expect in the highly-anticipated program.

The documentary follows the journey of the Tony-winning musical from inception to Broadway, and delves into the history of Alexander Hamilton himself. Portions of the show were filmed in historical landmarks, including Aaron Burr's bedroom at the Morris-Jumel Mansion (where Miranda composed parts of the musical) and George Washington's Mount Vernon. Throughout the program, Miranda conducts interviews with his father, President Barack Obama, Nas, Stephen Sondheim and John Weidman.

Of course a great deal of the documentary was shot at the Richard Rodgers Theatre, home of the musical. Included in the show are multiple live performances that were taped with the original Broadway cast, including Tony winners and nominees Miranda, Renee Elise Goldsberry, Leslie Odom Jr., Phillipa Soo, Daveed Diggs and Jonathan Groff.

Perhaps most importantly to Hamilton fans, THR reveals the list of all the performed songs that will appear, including a bonus duet of Miranda and Goldsberry freestyling at the very end of the broadcast.
