Carolines on Broadway, New York City's premier comedy venue, presents its talented line-up for the month of September, highlighted by headliners Sommore, "The Queen of Comedy," from the films The Queen Stands Alone, Friday After Next and Soul Plane, Labor Day Weekend, September 1 - 3; Steve Trevino, from his Netflix special, "Steve Trevino: Relatable," September 7 - 10; Rod Man, winner of Season 8 of NBC's Last Comic Standing, September 14 - 17; Gary Owen, from BET's The Gary Owen Show and the Think Like a Man films, September 21 - 24; T.K. Kirkland, presented by The Breakfast Club and hosted by Charlamagne Tha God and featuring DJ Envy, September 29 and 30.
Themed shows taking place in September are The Funniest Show on Broadway, featuring the best and brightest comedians from the Carolines roster, on September 4, 7, 11, 18, 21, and 25; Carolines New Talent, featuring New York's best emerging talent, on September 11, 16, 21 and 25; the Breakout Artist Comedy Series featuring Rojo Perez on September 5, Kendall Ketchum on September 12, Greta Titleman on September 19; Michael Harrison on September 20 and Gianmarco Sores on September 27; and Trump Day, a political comedy starring Bob DiBuono as "President Trump," on September 13.
Carolines on Broadway will also feature The Broken Tailed Dog: #SocialHour, a spinoff of host Josh Accardo's podcast featuring top comedians and social media influencers, on September 6; non-binary comedian Peter Smith holds court with fellow comedians and burlesque artists on September 14; the Tom and Tommy Comedy Mommy, hosted by Tom Thakkar and Tommy McNamara, on September 27; and The Gandhi Show, hosted by Brendan Fitzgibbons and Lance Weiss, on September 28.
