WHAT: News conference and photo opportunity for an important research announcement on the founders of the Jamestown colony

Media should enter through the Constitution Avenue lobby entrance of the museum. Public Affairs staff will check media in and escort them to the Q?rius Theater.

The National Museum of Natural History will co-host a news conference with Jamestown Rediscovery announcing an exciting new discovery about the founders of the Jamestown colony.

Following the research presentation, representatives from the National Museum of Natural History and Jamestown Rediscovery will be available to answer questions about the findings and conduct interviews. Media are also invited to film the conference and take b-roll and photographs of an array of historic artifacts, skeletal remains and 3-D prints in the Q?rius Lab.
