The score of the new musical The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, based on the classic tale by Washington Irving, will be preserved on a double CD.

The CD will feature Broadway actors who previously appeared in the York Theatre's June 2006 premiere reading of the show.  That reading was directed by Ben Rimalower, and featured Perry Ojeda as Ichabod Crane, Ann Rooney as Katrina Van Tassel, and Matt Stokes as Brom Van Brunt, among others.

The Legend of Sleepy Hollow is written by Robert Stempin and James Crowley.  The show will also be produced for a month at the Center Stage Outdoor Theatre in Columbus, Ohio, while West Central High School in Hartford, South Dakota will premiere the show on March 3rd and 4th with a full orchestra.

Crowley, of Phoenix, Ariz., and Stempin, of Durham, N.C., are currently collaborating on two other musicals, Walking With Grace, inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's Little Match Girl, and Dearest Teacher, the story of the early life of Annie Sullivan.
