SketchFest NYC will present the New York City Premiere of "Tell Your Friends! The Concert Film!" at the Paley Center for Media on Thursday, September 22nd, 2011; at 7:30pm. Stars from the film and local comedy celebrities are also set to appear as part of a post-screening discussion.
Tell Your Friends! The Concert Film! is a look at the burgeoning alternative comedy scene in the tradition of great rock documentaries including The Last Waltz and Woodstock. A festival favorite, Tell Your Friends! features such alt comedy luminaries as Reggie Watts,
Kristen Schaal,
Janeane Garofalo, and Marc Maron, among others. The screening will be followed by a panel discussion with the filmmakers and a selection of the iconoclastic comics seen in the film.
