Starting today, October 28th, 2008 PS Classics is offering web pre-sale for six upcoming titles including the highly anticipated Jackie Hoffman: LIVE AT JOE'S PUB and THE MARVERLOUS WONDERETTES.

The albums for sale are:

* The original off-Broadway cast recording of THE MARVELOUS WONDERETTES.  The New York Times called it "one irresistible musical," and The Associated Press raved "You won't find a more delightful girl-group. Clever, poignant and highly entertaining."  Come relive the sounds of the '50s and '60s with four gifted singers: Farah Alvin, Beth Malone, Bets Malone and Victoria Matlock.

* The eagerly awaited Jackie Hoffman: LIVE AT JOE'S PUB, starring the Second City alum best known for her hilarious turns on Broadway in Hairspray and Xanadu.  Jackie's unique blend of cynicism, stand up, and original songs are the stuff of New York legend.  Not for the warm and fuzzy, politically correct, or faint of heart.

* The third solo disc by PS Classics co-founder Philip Chaffin, WHEN THE WIND BLOWS SOUTH.   Philip revisits his Southern roots and brings them to bear on the music he loves best.  It's the sounds of the Old South gently filtered through the music of Broadway; the composers include Harold Arlen, Frank Loesser, Jerry Herman and Burton Lane.

* The earliest collaboration between award-winning songwriters Marcy Heisler and Zina Goldrich, the sweet, smart and tuneful DEAR EDWINA, which opens off-Broadway next month.  We've recorded it with some of Broadway's brightest stars, including Kerry Butler, Rebecca Luker, Terrence Mann, Danny Burstein and Andrea Burns. Please note that DEAR EDWINA will not be in stock until Tuesday 11/4, but may be ordered starting 10/28.

* The original motion picture soundtrack of WERE THE WORLD MINE.  With vibrant imagery, a first-rate ensemble cast, and innovative music rivaling the best of pop/rock and contemporary Broadway, WERE THE WORLD MINE -- "a rousing, warm-hearted spectacle" (Hollywood Reporter) -- expands the boundaries of modern gay cinema and musical film beyond expectation.

* The latest volume in our ongoing songwriter series: HOWARD SINGS ASHMAN.  Actually, TWO volumes: the first comprised of 17 tracks that the Grammy and Oscar-winning lyricist wrote with composer Alan Menken; the second consisting of 15 previously-unreleased demos from Ashman's 1986 Broadway musical with Marvin Hamlisch, the cult classic SMILE.
