Situation Interactive, a leading digital marketing agency working with brands that offer see-it-believe-it experiences, has been named one of the "Best Places to Work in New York City" in 2011 by Crain's New York Magazine for the second year in a row.
The list awards 50 organizations each year that are selected through an in-depth statistical analysis of employee surveys and company benefits by conducting over 13,000 employee surveys across New York City. The award was given to organizations that received high marks for a fun atmosphere, challenging work, advancement opportunities, along with other perks and benefits.
"Being recognized two years in a row by Crain’s is confirmation that our programs, craft and culture lead to our team’s happiness…a core value of our agency,” said Damian Bazadona, President of Situation Interactive. "We will continue to stretch ourselves as an agency for the benefit of our clients and our team.”
Situation Interactive understands that its team spends a great deal of time at work, so it’s imperative to have fun while making a big, positive impact on clients. “Working at Situation Interactive for the last six years, has taught me that you can love what you do and love where you do it,” said Lisa Cecchini, Director of Media and Insights. “It’s an environment that truly encourages growth and living outside of your comfort zone.”
In 2001, Situation Interactive set out to transform the possibilities in live experiences by bridging marketing and technology that captures, elevates and promotes the magic in see-it-to-believe-it moments. “By coupling the inherent interactive nature of live entertainment and the technological abilities of digital media, we help brands accentuate their passion, while enhancing the consumer’s live experience at multiple touch points,” said Bazadona. “A true win-win for both the brand and the patron.”
In its 10 years, Situation Interactive has not only grown its company and client list, it has also been the center of the digital revolution for the sports, hospitality, travel, tourism, arts and entertainment industries taking home a range of prestigious awards including Best Use of Social Media, Best in Interactive Advertising Design and Best Viral Marketing Campaign.
“The Situation Interactive team is all about capturing people’s imagination,” said Bazadona. “As we grow, we will continue to push the envelope and spotlight industries where see-it-to-believe-it experiences shine brightest –and have a little fun doing it.”
