Sinbad will headline Comedy Works South at the Landmark this weekend, September 4-6, 2015.
One of America's funniest and most-loved comedians, Sinbad has been doing comedy for over 30 years. His stage presence is very physical with plenty of movement and interaction, while his delivery and phrasing is as good as it comes.
Ranked by Comedy Central as "one of the top 100 stand-up comedians of all time," Sinbad has built a loyal following. He has recorded several TV specials for Comedy Central, HBO and other big name networks. Most recently, Sinbad released a new TV movie, Sinbad: Make Me Wanna Holla, which he served as the executive producer. He is internationally known for his starring appearances in hit movies including Jingle All the Way, Houseguest, Necessary Roughness, First Kid and Coneheads. Sinbad has also made television appearances on shows such as It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Are We There Yet, Celebrity Apprentice, Comics Unleashed and more recently Food Network's Chopped Tournament of Stars: Comedians.
Sinbad has appeared on all the biggest talk shows as a guest and a performer. He has a way of taking audiences' painful trials or embarrassing tribulations of every day life and throwing them back in their faces, causing an uproar or comedic hysteria.
