Simply Stylists Hosts Second Annual Conference

Simply Stylist, an LA based brand consultancy and special events company, announced their 2013 conference in New York City. A day created to inspire those with a passion for all things fashion and beauty, coming equipped with a networking brunch, panels, breakout sessions with top industry experts, shopping and pampering. Attendees of Simply Stylist New York will be offered an exclusive opportunity to interact, engage, and network with one another. The event will be held on October 27th from 10 AM to 6 PM and will take place at The Park Central Hotel, located at 870 7th Avenue in Manhattan.

Hosted by E!'s Catt Sadler, this year's panel is packed with experts from all angles of the industry. Attendees will gain insight from the expert panelists regarding upcoming trends and learn about what goes on behind the scenes in the fashion and beauty industries. Panelists including Lo Bosworth and Jay Manuel will be discussing an array of topics including their road to success, the importance of networking, the power of social media, as well as fashion & beauty tips. Other panelists include Danielle Bernstein (We Wore What),Alba Garcia (Vlogger), Sarah Boyd (Simply Stylist), Sasha Charnin Morrison (Fashion Director at Us Weekly), Jordan Reid (Ramshackle Glam), Allison Beal (StyleSaint), Laurel Pinson (Editor-in-chief of StyleCaster), Polly Blitzen (Beauty Blitz) and Annie Ladino (Shop It To Me).

For the second year in a row, Simply Stylist has partnered with LA based I Am That Girl foundation to inspire female fashion lovers. I Am That Girl is a community dedicated to providing girls with a space to consume healthy media encouraging women to think for themselves and discover their purpose. I Am That Girl believes that through building a community that provokes meaningful and mindful conversations they can enable women to have a higher sense of self-worth. Simply Stylist is donating a portion of ticket sales to I Am That Girl and additional donations can be made online at www.SimplyStylist.com.

The schedule for the day kicks off at 10 AM with a networking brunch courtesy of HauteLook. Publicist and philanthropist, Elissa Kravetz, will be speaking to attendees during the brunch. The Fashion and Beauty Panel will then commence at 12 PM and will continue until 3 PM. Following the panel, attendees will begin shopping, receive pampering treatments and can listen to informative Breakout Sessions. The 15 minute Breakout Sessions will take place for all attendees interested in the inner workings of the fashion and beauty industry. These mini-crash courses provide hands on opportunities for those industry hopefuls to learn how to break into the business. To cap off the day, EXPRESS will be hosting a cocktail hour complete with an Instagram contest for two lucky winners to receive a $500 EXPRESS gift card.

Sparkling ICE, an industry leader that provides great tasting, refreshing, zero-calorie beverages, will sponsor the Simply Stylist event. Additional brands that will be participating in the event include Henry & Belle, Dittos, That Madonna Girl, and Bradelis, to name a few. Breakout Session speakers include: Revolve Clothing's Social Media Director, Ashley Torres; eDrop-Off's founder, Corri McFadden; Executive VP of Sales at Priv, Courtney Jerden; COO of DNA Events, April Luca; Style and Fit Expert, Jenny Altman; Jacey Duprie from Damsel in Dior; founder of TMG Accessories, Michelle Madonna; Hilary Peterson from Lyst; personal stylist, Rachel Wirkus; and founder of Fohr Card, James Nord. Also onsite during the shopping event is celebrity stylist, Jacqueline Rezak, who will be doing personal style consultation for attendees.
