Simon Saltzman Appointed New President of Outer Critics Circle

The Outer Critics Circle, the organization of writers covering New York theatre for out-of-town newspapers, national publications and other media beyond Broadway, has named New Jersey theatre reviewer Simon Saltzman as its new Acting President.
Saltzman is a long-time member of the OCC Executive Committee and has written for several online publications in addition to U.S. 1 Newspaper in Princeton and the Bergen News Group's Commuter Week.
The Providence journalist/critic Thomas Gentile and Connecticut broadcaster/critic Rosalind Friedman have also been named as new members of the Executive Committee.Marjorie Gunner, the organizations' president for 25 years, continues as President Emeriti and serves on both the organization's Executive Board and Nominating Committee.
