Producers Betty Ann Besch Solinger and Alice Chebba Walsh will present a private stage reading of the new musical SENSE & SENSIBILITY THE MUSICAL on June 12 and June 13, 2014 in New York. Based on the Jane Austen novel of the same name, SENSE & SENSIBILITY THE MUSICAL had a critically acclaimed world premiere in 2013 at the Denver Center Theatre Company. SENSE & SENSIBILITY THE MUSICAL features a book and lyrics by Jeffrey Haddow, music by Neal Hampton and direction, and musical staging by Tony Award nominee Marcia Milgrom Dodge (Ragtime).
The cast will feature Paul Binotto, Sierra Boggess, Michael Campayno, Daniella Dalli, Laura Darrell, Matt Farcher, David Garrison, Joanna Glushak, Josh Grisetti, Robyn Hurder, Charlotte Maltby, Marissa McGowan, Greg Mills, Trista Moldovan, Cass Morgan, Liz Pearce, Robert Petkoff, Steve Rosen, John Scherer, and Josh Walden.

SENSE & SENSIBILITY THE MUSICALcombines Jane Austen's trademark wit, unforgettable songs, and the irresistible allure of romance, gossip, and high society.
SENSE & SENSBILITY THE MUSICAL was developed at the Colorado New Play Summit in 2012 and had its world premiere in Denver at the Denver Center Theatre Company, where it opened to critical acclaim on April 5, 2013 and featured direction and choreography by Dodge, scenic design by Allen Moyer, costume design by ESosa, lighting design by James F. Ingalls, sound design by Craig Breitenback, and orchestrations by Kim Scharnberg and Neal Hampton. The production ran through May 26, 2013.
