HAMILTON's pre-show lottery performance, known as #Ham4Ham on social media as a play on the fact that Hamilton's face is on the $10 bill, has quickly become one of Broadway's favorite traditions as fans gather in front of the Richard Rodgers Theatre to see what Hamilton writer Lin-Manuel Miranda has in store -- and who his guest performer is.
Now fans are pitching titles for other Broadway shows' $10 lotteries. The trend started on social media when resident #Ham4Ham videographer Howard Sherman tweeted, "Just dawned on me: if Eric Idle's musical is ever revived, they could run a lottery called #Spam4Ham." He followed this up with, "Frankly, HEDWIG could have had a lottery called #Glam4Ham," and "What about a KING AND I lottery called #Siam4Ham?"
