On the coldest night of the year; in the hottest restaurant in New York City...all hell is about to break loose. Enter the world of THE CHAOS THEORIES, the critically-acclaimed urban comedy written by 2X Drama Desk nominee Alexander Dinelaris. This staged reading is directed by Stewart M. Schulman. Joining Sheedy, Chalfant, Ziemba and Moss are Broadway veterans Julian Gamble, Ted Koch, Matthew Rauch as well as Todd Alan Crain (see bios below). The reading happens this Thursday, December 15th, 3:00 p.m. at the Shetler Studio Theatre, 244 West 54th Street (between Broadway & 8th).

Hailed by The Daily News as "bitingly funny," THE CHAOS THEORIES is a pointed journey through the madness of modern society. The action takes place in a hip downtown eatery where on this night you find stalkers and stockbrokers, politicians and playwrights, the high-strung and the hopeless.

"When we first read Alex's multi-plotted script, we immediately recognized a work that was frightening, funny and absolutely new", explains Linda S. Nelson and Patricia R. Klausner of Miljam Productions. "Given this moment in our nation's history, we could not ask for a play more timely and relevant." Nelson and Klausner originally presented THE CHAOS THEORIES in the 2004 NY Fringe Festival, where Backstage noted, "It was obvious from the get-go that Alexander Dinelaris' Fringe Festival entry, THE CHAOS THEORIES, was going to be a cut above the norm."

THE CHAOS THEORIES  was originally developed and produced by Shotgun Productions.
