Shanghai Synergy Ent. & Culture Group Signs Music Publishing Deal With 88tc88

Shanghai Synergy Entertainment & Culture Group (SSCEG) and 88tc88 announced today that they have entered into a publishing agreement whereby 88tc88 will acquire exploitation rights for musical works from third parties for commercial use in the territory of Greater China, to include Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau. SSCEG will undertake administration responsibilities on the exploitation and royalty collecting for the musical works on behalf of 88tc88.

SSCEG will represent the works and the exploitation rights to MCSC, MUST, CASH and all other possible Collecting Societies and third parties within the territory.

The pact was signed at the opening ceremony of the China Music Industry Park-Shanghai, Music Production Center. From inception, through the approval processes and building of the early prototypes, to the final site in Shanghai, the park has resulted in an industry resource and Music Production Center that is symbolic of the burgeoning music industry taking shape in China with 88tc88 playing a critical role.

This music production center will construct the most advanced, world-leading recording studio in China, and will be accompanied by severAl Smaller studios specializing in different recording needs, including a film studio for recording TV and film programs, and advanced mastering studio, and other critical resources found in a functioning commercial creative ecosystem.
