Shakespeare's Globe Season Will Feature Jonathan Pryce in THE MERCHANT OF VENICE and Michelle Terry in AS YOU LIKE IT

Multi-award-winning actor Jonathan Pryce will play Shylock in Jonathan Munby's The Merchant of Venice, opening the Globe Theatre season on 23 April.

Oliver Award-winner Michelle Terry will play Rosalind in Blanche McIntyre's As You Like It, opening 15 May.

Priority booking for Friends of the Globe opens on 13 January, allowing you to pick the seats and dates you want before they go on general sale on 9 February.

Founded by the pioneering American actor and director Sam Wanamaker, Shakespeare's Globe is a unique international resource dedicated to the exploration of Shakespeare's work and the playhouse for which he wrote, through the connected means of performance and education.

Together, the Globe Theatre, Globe Exhibition & Tour and Globe Education seek to further the experience and international understanding of Shakespeare in performance.
