Ars Nova presents two encore performances of Rhapsody in Seth, written by and starring Emmy nominated and award-winning comedian Seth Rudetsky, as a benefit for The Trevor Project. Although living well is considered sweet revenge against one's high school enemies, doing a show and using real names is even sweeter! Tuesday, September 28th at 7 PM and 9 PM at Ars Nova (511 West 54th Street, just west of 10th Ave.).

The Trevor Project is a group that constructively raises issues of tolerance and acceptance among today's gay and questioning youth, their parents and their peers; demonstrating that there are positive solutions to the problems they encounter. www.thetrevorproject.org

Seth Rudestsky is Musical Director for the upcoming 4th Annual Actors Fund Benefit concert of Hair, with Harvey Fiersten, Idina Menzel and Gavin Creel, among others. Rudetsky filmed five episodes of "All My Children" this spring as Rudy the choreographer, opposite Susan Lucci and entertained wildly enthusiastic audiences in his long running Off-Broadway hit Rhapsody in Seth, which played at the Actors' Playhouse. As a pit pianist and conductor, Rudetsky has tickled the ivories for over 15 Broadway shows, including hits such as 42nd Street, The Full Monty, Phantom of the Opera, Mamma Mia! and The Producers. Seth conceived the Dreamgirls 20th Anniversary Concert with Lillias White, Audra MacDonald and Heather Hadley. Next for Seth and The Actor's Fund was Funny Girl, with Megan Mullally, Lillias White, Audra MacDonald, Ana Gasteyer, Jane Krakowski and Kristin Chenoweth, and Chess starring Josh Groban, Sutton Foster, Raul Esparza and Adam Pascal. He acted as artistic producer, conductor and musical director. Rudetsky was part of the three-time Emmy-nominated comedy writing team for "The Rosie O'Donnell Show," and wrote the lyrics and opening numbers of the 1998 and 2000 Tony Awards shows. He has also hosted Seth's Broadway Chatterbox at Don't Tell Mama's.
