Hollywood star Tom Selleck, who made his debut in New York nearly a decade ago, may be looking to return.
In 2001, Selleck played the lead role of Murray in a Broadway revival of Herb Gardner's comedic play A THOUSAND CLOWNS. It ran for only two months. According to reports from WENN Selleck said, "I'll probably do a Broadway play soon. There's a lot of possibilities but it requires time which I'm happy to say I don't have right now."He added, "As much as I enjoyed doing my first Broadway play, my first play of any kind back in 2001, I haven't had a chance to go back." Currently, Selleck plays a New York City police chief in the new TV series "Blue Bloods," which will begin this autumn. Selleck is best known for his starring role as Hawaii-based private investigator Thomas Magnum on the 1980s television show "Magnum, P.I." He also plays Jesse Stone in a series of made-for-TV movies based on the Robert B. Parker novels.Videos
