ABC's Dancing with the Stars, PBS's American Ballroom Challenge and BBC's Strictly Come Dancing
have made ballroom dancing a water cooler topic among Americans everywhere.
The Town Hall offers you a chance to experience the magic of it all live as we present
Champions of the Dance on Friday, January 23 at 8 pm.

In this day of television's popular dance competitions, you don't find young Fred Astaires and Ginger Rogers in the movies, but in elite dance competitions for ballroom dancing. Many of these contestants including Delyan Terziev and Boriana Deltcheva (who were featured on ABC's Dancing with the Stars with Sheryl Crow), Gherman Mustuc and Iveta Lukosiute (the reigning World Professional Ten Dance Champions), Matt and Karen Hauer (National Mambo Champions),
Tony Scheppler and Erin Bomboy (the reigning North American Smooth champions who have been appeared in Enchanted and Mona Lisa Smile) and Mayo Alanen and Lisa Vogel (seen on PBS's America's Ballroom Challenge and current Rising Star Smooth Champions) will perform to the rhythms of the waltz, foxtrot, cha-cha, rumba and more.

Don't miss the impeccable technique and passionate performance of ten of the finest dancers
from around the globe in a powerful celebration of international ballroom and Latin dance!

And, don't miss the rest of Town Hall's Not Just Jazz season.
