January 2013 marks APOGEE Media's premiere of the highly anticipated return of the interactive fitness trainer competition web series "Fit or Flop", launching on the official series website, www.fitorflop.com.
Premiering on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at 8PM EST, the second season of the online reality program features an all new panel of celebrity and industry expert judges who challenge emergent personal trainers and fitness instructors to demonstrate why they are worthy of the crown of America's Best Fitness Star. The winning contestant receives $150,000 of video and promotional services from the show's producer, APOGEE Media. Brett Hoebel, Jenna Autuori-Dedic, and Allison Ceraso join the team to provide sizzling chemistry and unique angles of expertise. Using the show's signature "fit" or "flop" buttons judges measure contestants' fitness brands based on five essential elements of trainer stardom: Concept, Marketability, Star Power, Personality and User-Base.
Brett Hoebel, international fitness expert, founder of Hoebel Fitness and a trainer on NBC's "The Biggest Loser" season 11, is one of the most sought-after weight-loss, nutrition and lifestyle coaches in the country. Jenna Autuori-Dedic, the Fitness Editor at FITNESS magazine, scours the industry for the hottest fitness trends helping readers stay fit by regularly meeting with trainers, testing new workouts, and finding the best gear. Allison Ceraso, Executive Creative Director at Havas Life, a global full-service health & wellness agency, isa 14-year veteran specializing in creating advertising campaigns and building brands that aim to help consumers "be better, live better". Andrea Boehlke, a fan favorite reappearing on CBS' upcoming season of "Survivor", also joins the cast as the host of the innovative web series. Danielle Wechsler returns as this season's fitness correspondent, venturing out to sample various contestant programs and workouts.
"We're really thrilled about the second season of 'Fit or Flop'. Riding a great buzz generated from the first season, we were excited to upgrade the production by having a much improved cast of celebrity judges and hosts, auditioning more inspiring contestants, and adding elimination rounds to the online voting campaign," commented Ali Matlock, Producer.
Beginning March 13, 2013, after the release of six episodes, all contestants deemed a "fit" by the expert panel of judges are provided streaming clips of their full interview and auditions on the official website; and visitors are given the option to vote fit or flop, helping to determine the $150,000 prize package winner and that title of America's Best Trainer for season 2 of "Fit or Flop".
