More than 800 comedians entered the competition, and 33 were chosen to compete in Seattle throughout the month.Malone, best known for his number three selling comedy album on iTunes, "Let's Get Physical," and recent $5 download release, "Casual Sext," competed in 17 shows this November to wind up on top in Sunday night's showdown. His victory was foreshadowed by first place finishes in both the preliminary and semi-final rounds earlier this month, though the final heat was extremely competitive.
