Sean Hayes-starring AN ACT OF GOD Announces General Rush Ticket Policy

The hit Broadway comedy AN ACT OF GOD starring Tony® nominee and Emmy® winner Sean Hayes has announced that a limited number of $42 general rush tickets will be available at the Booth Theatre (222 West 45th Street) when the box office opens for that day's performance(s). Limited to two tickets per person, tickets are subject to availability. Cash and major credit cards are accepted.

Written by God, transcribed by 13-time Emmy® Award winner David Javerbaum and directed by Tony Award® winner Joe Mantello, the comedy returns to New York after launching the 2015-2016 Broadway season in a sold-out, critically acclaimed run and a second successful run starring Sean Hayes in Los Angeles and San Francisco.

An Act of God, which also features David Josefsberg as Michael and James Gleason as Gabriel, began performances on Saturday, May 28 and officially opened on Monday, June 6 for a 14-week strictly limited engagement.

An Act of God is based on the critically acclaimed book written by God and transcribed by David Javerbaum. Javerbaum is a 13-time Emmy Award® winner for his work as a head writer and executive producer for "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart."

The play premiered on Broadway on May 7, 2015 and ran in an acclaimed, limited run through August 2, 2015 starring God in the body of Jim Parsons. It was the first Broadway production of the 2015-2016 season to recoup its initial investment.

The King of the Universe is back to tackle His greatest challenge yet: a second summer in New York. God takes the form of Emmy Award winner Sean Hayes in An Act of God, a 90-minute comedy where the Almighty and His devoted Angels answer some of the deepest questions that have plagued mankind since Creation. He's returned to set the record straight to a whole new crop of believers ... and He's not holding back!

An Act of God features scenic design by Tony Award® winner Scott Pask (The Book of Mormon), costume design by Tony Award® nominee David Zinn (Fun Home), lighting design by Tony Award® winner Hugh Vanstone (Matilda) sound design by Drama Desk Award® winner Fitz Patton (It's Only A Play) and projection design by Drama Desk Award® winner Peter Nigrini (Here Lies Love).
