Scott Alan to Release New Album Featuring Cynthia Erivo and Oliver Tompsett

After a sold out two week residency at London's famed Hippodrome Casino, acclaimed songwriter Scott Alan will release his seventh album, 'Cynthia Erivo and Oliver Tompsett sing Scott Alan.'

Featuring six new songs and six reimagined songs from Alan's songbook, the album features the talents of West End stars Oliver Tompsett (Fiyero in Wicked; Drew in Rock of Ages) and Cynthia Erivo (West End's I Can't Sing!) who will soon be seen making her Broadway debut, reprising her role of Celie at the Menier Chocolate Factory in London, opposite Jennifer Hudson in John Doyle's revival of The Color Purple.

The album cover was photographed by Darren Bell and features Art Design by Playbill's Robbie Rozelle.

Alan's six previous album include 'Dreaming Wide Awake,' 'Keys,' 'What I Wanna Be When I Grow Up,' 'LIVE,' 'Anything Worth Holding on To (Ep)' and 'Greatest Hits: Volume One.' Many of today's brightest talents have lent their voices to Alan's songs including Tony Award Winners Lea Salonga, Sutton Foster, Randy Graff, Patina Miller and recording artists including Grammy Award Winners Pentatonix, Sam Bailey (X-Factor Winner 2013), Colabro (Britain's Got Talent Winners 2014), Grammy Nominee Taylor Dayne, Diane DeGarmo (American Idol Runner Up), Christina Marie (The VoiceUK Runner Up) and More.
