Block (The Pirate Queen), Liz Callaway (Miss Saigon), Danny Calvert (Altar Boyz), Eden Espinosa (Wicked), Jonathan Groff (Spring Awakenings), Jackie Hoffman (Xanadu), Cheyenne Jackson (Xanadu),  Carly Jibson (Crybaby), Adriane Lenox (Chicago),  Shayna Steele (Hairspray), Josh Strickland (Tarzan), Tracie Thoms (Rent movie) and recording artists Katie Thompson and Jill Zadeh.

The CD was arranged and musically directed by Jesse Vargas and produced by Alan and Vargas at Track 9 studios, New York City.

"Scott Alan wrote the book, music and lyrics for the musical Detour, which ran for an extended, sold out 10-week run at the Complex Theater in Los Angeles, California. Many of Broadway's elite has sung his music in concert, benefits and recordings. Starting as a solo performer signed to a label deal, he moved on and quickly found his home working as an assistant Musical Director in Los Angeles alongside some of the best, including Ricky Minor and Diane Louie. His love for theater brought him back to New York where he is working on his newest musical project, Piece, with book writer Tara Smith, which has been presented at both the NAMT festival and Seattle's Village Theatre Festival," explain press notes, "As a producer, Alan conceived the popular monthly Monday Nights, New Voices series at The Duplex Cabaret Theatre, which features some of today's biggest Broadway stars and composer/lyricists honoring upcoming theatre talent, including emerging writers."
