In honor of National Coming Out Day, composer and lyricist Scott Alan has made one of this songs "Blessing", sung by RJ Helton, one of the Top Five from American Idol Season One, for free. People can download the link to the song here via CDBaby.

According to the Human Rights Campaign, National Coming Out Day's goal is to "celebrate coming out as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or as an ally. On Oct. 11, 2013, we mark the 25th anniversary of National Coming Out Day. This year's theme is "Coming Out Still Matters."

Scott Alan is a critically acclaimed composer and lyricist who has worked with some of the biggest names in theatre business, including Sierra Boggess, Jeremy Jordan, Caissie Levy, and more. To date, he has released four CDs featuring theatre artists, including 'Dreaming Wide Awake,' 'Keys,' 'What I Wanna Be When I Grow Up,' and 'LIVE.'.
