This year's annual fundraising gala American Friends of Rabin Medical Center "Broadway on the Hudson" Gala is being held on the historic Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum on Monday, November 2, 2009 with Larry King hosting for his 8th year. Over 600 people will be in attendance, including diplomats, civic, business, medical and philanthropic leaders of their respective industries. William S. Marth, President & CEO of Teva Pharmaceuticals North America, is joining the gala as the dinner honoree.

Legendary comedian Robert Klein will be introducing the entertainment portion of the evening with his hilarious stand-up routine. Memphis, the brand new Broadway show opening on October 19, is also confirmed to perform. Steve Ash, leading the National Jazz Museum in Harlem, will be accompanying the dinner and there will be a special dance performance from Tony Award winner Savion Glover (Bring in 'Da Noise, Bring in 'Da Funk, Jelly's Last Jam, Black and Blue, The Tap Dance Kid).
