Sasha Lazard to Offer NYC Concerts at The Standard Hotel and The Cutting Room in June

In advance of her fifth CD Lumiere being released in September, next month, stunning songstress and classical crossover artist Sasha Lazard will offer two special NYC concert performances onWednesday, June 12 at 8pm at Top of the Standard at The Standard Hotel (848 Washington Street) and on Wednesday, June 19 at 8pm at night club The Cutting Room (44 E. 32 St). She will be debuting several of her new songs at the June concerts and Sasha will also begin a monthly engagement at The Standard in September, The Sunset Series.

Known for her dynamic voice, commanding stage presence and eclectic repertoire, the stylish New Yorker has worked with some of biggest luxury brands including Bulgari and Victoria's Secret, has traveled the world performing at countless high profile events and venues, and her music has been featured in several motion pictures including Princess Mononoke and the Kate Winslet starrer Holy Smoke.

On June 12 she will be joined by renowned cellist Dave Eggar, Dina Fanai (Trans-Siberian Orchestra), Martin Zarzar (former percussionist from Pink Martini) and Hank Stampfl. On June 19, she will be joined by Dina Fanai & Bon Kinkel.

Sasha Lazard has performed at distinguished venues all over the world including Carnegie Hall, Privilege (the world's biggest nightclub in Ibiza, Spain), Catherine The Great's Palace in St. Petersburg (where she sang for Bulgari's top patrons) and Shea Stadium (where she sang the National Anthem at for the New York Mets). Sasha's music can also be heard in the films Princess Mononoke, Kate Winslet's Holy Smoke, and Andy Garcia's Modigliani, and her song "Angeli" was featured in Victoria Secret's "Angel" Campaign. Her previous four albums are The Myth of Red (2002), Moonfall (2005),Siren (2007) and Miles Away (2009).
