Straight off her performance in the musical HAIR at the Hollywood Bowl, Sarah Hyland spoke by phone to reporters about her upcoming gig as co-host of this year's Teen Choice Awards, airing live on FOX on Sunday, Aug. 10 at 8/7c. The 'Modern Family' actress will be joined by her "Scary Movie 5″ co-star Tyler Posey as host of the annual event.

According to Variety, Hyland hinted that she may be featured in a singing performance involving an ensemble group during the telecast. "I was singing before I could speak," joked the actress who portrayed 'Chrissy' in the classic Viet Nam-era musical. "I am forever in debt to (director) Adam Shankman for giving me the chance to be able to perform again in L.A. I had a blast, and I hope I am able to do something like that again."
