The Laurie Beechman Theatre is pleased to present the world premiere of Phil Geoffrey Bond's play, Small Town Confessions, for two performances only:

Monday, October 5 @ 9:30pm; Monday, October 19 @ 9:30pm

There is a $10 cover charge and a $20 minimum. The Laurie Beechman Theatre is located at 407 West 42nd St., in the heart of New York's theatre district and within The West Bank Cafe. A full dinner menu is available. Doors will open at 8:45pm.

Small Town Confessions is a series of monologues spoken by the colorful residents of Anitola, Louisiana. Rumors of visits from martians, a special stopover from Diana Ross, an obsession with Wicked, a has-been Walt Disney World employee, a chat with the bride of Satan and the creative use of spray glitter are all tales told in this homespun account of small town living. The proceedings are hosted by Jobeth Maybelline, manicurist to the town and keeper of community secrets, deftly played by Tony nominee Sally Mayes (Welcome to the Club, She Loves Me).

The cast also includes: Natalie Arneson, Josh Caggiano (Kinky Boots), Harris Doran (Elementary, Person of Interest, Malcolm in the Middle), Daniel Jenkins (Big River, Mary Poppins, Billy Elliot), Lorinda Lisitza, Rob Maitner (Urinetown), Kelli Rabke (Joseph..., Les Miserables, Children of Eden) and Melanie Vaughan (Sunday in the Park with George, Starlight Express, On the Twentieth Century). Direction is by Lucia Spina (Kinky Boots, South Pacific, Legally Blonde, ...Spelling Bee).

Applebee's. Aliens. Jesus Christ. Disney Princesses. Show choir. Glittery nail polish: The folks down in Anitola Parish got it all. Drop by! It's more fun than church and better than a night at the Wal-Mart.
