Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH announced that it plans to open a new store in San Diego, California, on Friday, May 23. This will be the largest Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH store at 40,000 square feet, and will carry an extended array of designer brands at value prices.

Located at Carmel Mountain Plaza in San Diego, the space features new visual elements and fixtures, with a large assortment of new designer brands. Shoppers will find an impressive selection of designer shoe brands, some of which cannot be found in other Saks OFF 5TH locations. Women will find the latest fashion from designers such as Calvin Klein, Helmut Lang, Theory, Vince and Cole Haan. Men can find brands such as Robert Graham, Superdry and Michael Kors.

In celebration of the grand opening, customers are invited to a preview party on Thursday, May 22, to shop exclusive merchandise before the official opening. On Opening Day, customers who arrive at the store early will be entered for a chance to win a $100 Gift Card, awarded every five minutes before the official opening at 10am, with one lucky winner receiving a $1000 Gift Card. Additionally, the first 200 shoppers to arrive each day on Friday, May 23 through Monday, May 26, and on Wednesday, May 28 and Saturday, May 30 will receive a chocolate bar. A select few chocolate bars will contain a golden ticket Gift Card valued from $100 to $500. Opening weekend customers will also receive a branded canvas tote and a savings coupon with their purchases.
