SYLVIA's Annaleigh Ashford to Release Live Recording of LOST IN THE STARS This Friday

Tony Award-winning Broadway starlet Annaleigh Ashford -- currently receiving raves in SYLVIA, and also celebrated for her work on stage in YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU, KINKY BOOTS, RENT, WICKED and LEGALLY BLONDE, as well as on the hit Showtime television series MASTERS OF SEX - celebrates the release of her debut album a LIVE recording of her critically acclaimed cabaret show LOST IN THE STARS, which debuted last December at 54 Below and has since traveled to select cities across the country.

LOST IN THE STARS will be released by Broadway Records this Friday, November 13th, 2015 and the album will be available wherever digital music is sold as well as various outlets that sell physical CDs. The album now is available for pre-order HERE.

Produced by Ms. Ashford, Andy Jones, Will Van Dyke, and Derik Lee, the album features Ashford with songwriter and music director Will Van Dyke and The Whiskey 5 band. LOST IN THE STARS celebrates the classic cabaret with an eclectic mix of music from the disco days of Donna Summer to the haunting melodies of Kurt Weill and Stephen Sondheim to a sing-a-long of Alanis Morrisette. This glossy and glittery live recording is a touch of fun with a whole lot of heart.

Annaleigh Ashford is currently earning rave reviews for her performance in SYLVIA on Broaway. Her other Broadway credits include You Can't Take It With You (Tony, Drama Desk, and Outer Critics Circle Awards), Kinky Boots (Clarence Derwent Award; Tony, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle nominations.), Hair, Wicked, and Legally Blonde. Off- Broadway, she has been seen in Dogfight and Rent. TV: Betty DiMello on "Masters of Sex," "Super Clyde," "Smash," "The Big C," "Nurse Jackie," "Law & Order: SVU," "Legally Blonde; The Musical" (MTV). Films: Top Five, Love On The Run, Sex & the City, Rachel Getting Married. Annaleigh is a graduate of Marymount Manhattan College.

Will Van Dyke is a New York based composer/lyricist and music director whose compositions include Winnie the Pooh, Kids (Disney), The Lion King Jr. & Kids (Disney), The Devil's Bitch (Playbill), One Small Step for Melvin (Wine & Cheese Club Prod.), and The Girls I've Like Liked (Ars Nova). His songs have been performed at venues all over the country from Los Angeles to New York City. Upcoming works include Magnificent Climb (with Rick Elice), Imagine Harry and Wintersong (with Jeff Talbott), and Writing Kevin Taylor (with Josh Halloway). As a Music Director, Will currently works on Kinky Boots (Associate Music Director/Associate Music Supervisor [Korea]). Will is also the Music Director of The Whiskey 5, a band he assembled in 2014. Together they work with many New York City based artists including Annaleigh Ashford, Matt Doyle and Jackie Hoffman. With Annaleigh Ashford, Will wrote and produced "Another Time (Andrew's Song)" available wherever digital music is sold.
