The Drama League continues the Summer 2014 Programming Schedule with the ever popular "Up Close" Series featuring Broadway veterans Andrew Keenan-Bolger and Kate Wetherhead, co-creators of the online web series, "Submissions Only," who will be joined by members of the cast on Monday, June 30, 2014 beginning at 7:00 p.m. at The Drama League Theater Center (32 Avenue of the Americas).

Kate Wetherhead and Andrew Keenan-Bolger, co-creators of the satirically comical web series "Submissions Only," are joined by members of the cast as they discuss the series' creation, development, and ongoing success. The team will share their experiences using social media and online production to expand the scope and reach of the New York theater industry, effectively bringing a glimpse of Broadway to the world.

Kate Wetherhead is the co-creator, writer and star of the web comedy, "Submissions Only." Broadway credits include Legally Blonde: the Musical and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Off-Broadway: Ordinary Days; Sarah, Plain and Tall; Tatjana in Color; and Cam Jansen. Regional: James and the Giant Peach; Emmett Otter's Jugband Christmas (Goodspeed); Steel Magnolias (Paper Mill Playhouse); It's a Bird, It's a Plane, lt's Superman! (Dallas Theater Center); The Spitfire Grill (Skylight Opera Theatre); Almost, Maine (St. Michael's Playhouse); and "Sally Bowles" in Cabaret (Dallas Theatre Center).

Andrew Keenan-Bolger is an actor, director, author and filmmaker. He can be seen as "Billy Frazier" in the Marc Lawrence directed film, The Rewrite, starring Hugh Grant and Marisa Tomei. On Broadway, he created the role of "Crutchie" in Newsies (Outer Critics Circle nominee, Best Supporting Actor), "Roberston Ay" in Mary Poppins, and has been seen in Seussical, Beauty and the Beast, and A Christmas Carol. Other NY theater credits include "Nick" in Family Furniture at The Flea Theater (directed by Thomas Kail). First National Tours: "Leaf Coneybear" in Spelling Bee, "Max" in The Grinch, as well as Mary Poppins and Ragtime. TV/Film: "Alex" on the HBO series Looking, "Corey" in the film You Must Be Joking, "Christophe," on The Naked Brothers Band (Nickelodeon), Paramount Pictures' Marci X, One Life To Live. Andrew received his B.F.A. from the University of Michigan. As a filmmaker, Andrew is co-creator of the web series, "Submissions Only", now in its third season. His videos have been profiled in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Entertainment Weekly, The Associated Press and New York Magazine. He is currently writing a children's book series with collaborator Kate Wetherhead for the Penguin Group.

Currently in its third season, "Submissions Only" is a groundbreaking comedy web series set in the casting and audition world of the New York theater industry. It centers around an aspiring actress, Penny Reilly (Kate Wetherhead) and her friend, casting agent Tim Trull (Colin Hanlon), as well as their circle of friends, colleagues, family, and romantic partners. The series was created in August 2010 by Andrew Keenan-Bolger and Kate Wetherhead, who act as director/editor and writer, respectively.
