On Day 2 of "Where in the World is Matt Lauer" on NBC's TODAY, the veteran news reporter turned up in Madrid, Spain. The host explained that this was not the original itinerary for the week. Due to weather-related issues, the crew was forced to rearrange the scheduled locations of the popular segment.
The clue for this morning's location, "Don Pardo might say it is a 'pin in the earth in blue sea.' Its cup runneth over, high in the sky, where the best things can be free!" was written and read aloud by producer Jim Bell, and completely stumped TODAY'S Ann Curry, Al Roker and Natalie Morales.
