AMERICAN PSYCHO, the American premiere of a new musical based on the novel by Bret Easton Ellis -- which celebrates the 25th anniversary of its publication this March -- will begin performances on Broadway at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street) today, March 24, 2016. AMERICAN PSYCHO has music and lyrics by Tony and Grammy Award-winner Duncan Sheik (Spring Awakening), and a book by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa ("Supergirl," "Looking," "Glee"). Directed by Olivier Award-winner Rupert Goold (King Charles III), American Psycho has choreography by Tony Award-nominee Lynne Page (La Cage Aux Folles). Benjamin Walker (Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, The Choice) is cast in the lead role of Patrick Bateman.
