North Carolina Theatre announces the summer production of Disney and Cameron Mackintosh's Mary Poppins. Leading the cast in her North Carolina Theatre debut is Broadway sensation Kara Lindsay as everyone's favorite nanny, "Mary Poppins" alongside Nicolas Dromard. NC native Eric Woodall is set to direct with choreography by Ryan Kasprzak. NC Theatre's production of Disney and Cameron Mackintosh's Mary Poppins will play July 26-31, 2016 at Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Raleigh. Also appearing is Lisa Brescia (Broadway: Mamma Mia!, Wicked; Regional: Hamlet, Cabaret), as "Winifred Banks," and Gary Milner as "George Banks" (Broadway: Doctor Zhivago, West End: Love Story). Kathy Fitzgerald returns to NC Theatre as "Mrs. Brill/Bird Woman" after appearing in the 2012 production of Legally Blonde. Broadway credits include "Ms. Morrible" in Wicked on Broadway and "Roz" in 9 to 5.

Returning to the NC Theatre stage is Riley Campbell in the role as "Jane Banks". Campbell made her professional debut with North Carolina Theatre as "Young Cosette" in LES MISERABLES in 2014, as well as appearing in The Little Mermaid that year. She was last seen in The Wolf and Carousel at Theatre Raleigh. Playing her brother "Michael" is Micah Boan in his first NC Theatre performance, having previously appeared in Elon's Oklahoma!

Also appearing is Jane Blass (Miss Andrew), Ryan Breslin (Robertson Ay), Tim Caudle (Admiral Boom), and Elise Dwenger (Miss Lark). Rounding out the cast is Dance Captain Kelly Liz Bolick, Leilani Carr, Kinsland Howell, Bryan Thomas Hunt, Daniel Marhelko, Yolanda Rabun, Jose Rondon Jr., and Peyton Royal, Sean Seymour, Lydia Tart, Matthew Tiberi, Christopher BrIan Williams, and Collin Yates.

The children's ensemble consists of students from the North Carolina Theatre Conservatory, NC Theatre's flagship training program: Adele Baldina, Addie Ruth Fornes, Emma Rae Fornes, and Skyla Woodard.

The creative team of North Carolina Theatre's production of Mary Poppins is led by Artistic Director Casey Hushion and Producer CaroLee Baxter, with Edward G. Robinson as Music Director.
