Tony and Academy Award winning actress Vanessa Redgrave and two-time Tony winner James Earl Jones visited "The View" on Nov. 18 to talk about their work in the Broadway production of Alfred Uhry's DRIVING MISS DAISY.
Redgrave (LONG DAY'S JOURNEY INTO THE NIGHT) plays Daisy Werthan, an older Southern Jewish woman, and Jones (CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF, FENCES) plays Hoke, the black chauffeur hired to drive her. The play studies the friendship that growns between Daisy and Hoke as the Civil Rights era evolves.
