New York Times technology columnist David Pogue, a former Broadway musical conductor, performed an impromptu tribute number to Steve Jobs and Apple during a Boston Book Festival session on e-books and the future of reading.

The song was a parody of the Evita classic 'Don't Cry For Me, Argentina' titled 'Don't Cry For Me, Cupertino.'

Evita is a musical with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Tim Rice. It focuses on the life of Argentine political leader Eva Perón, the second wife of Argentinian president Juan Perón. The story follows Evita's early life, acting career, rise to power, charity work, feminist involvement and eventual death from cancer.
